Impact on Grain Quality Parameters When Nitrogen Is ‘ Sensor

چکیده

Yield and grain quality maps have been produced at full-scale field trials within a 10.5 ha-1 field for four different nitrogen strategies. Grain samples have been collected directly from the grain flow of a combine harvester and analysed for quality in the laboratory and merged with the yield meter registrations. Within the field great variance was observed in yield and grain quality. This paper evaluates the impact on yield and grain quality – protein when nitrogen is sensor applied by the Hydro-Precise N-Sensor system. The results are discussed in terms of a potential new precision nitrogen application strategy for Danish winter wheat INTRODUCTION
